Hi all, Pande here with a problem. I finally booted up ET again for some mapping fun and I get this problem… the internet quits when I launch it. ONLY when I launch this game though, tried others.
Do I need to do the epic reinstall or is this a known easily fixed problem? WPA protected DLink router.
Nope didn’t work… I tried stopping Avast and windows firewall, and then tried also deleting Avast. Still, ET shows no server list. JK:JA and Nexuiz still work though, so I don’t get what it is.
The serverlist crashes sometimes. And for some people the serverlist doesn’t work for a strange reason. However if you are able to connect onto a server, you have no problem. Imo external server browsers like xfire or SL are more useful. I use SL.
you may also use x-fire to launch it with,and there is serverlist on the x-fire
