influx of cheaters this week in public games.

(asparagusMist) #41

this isnt about oh i had a good game look at me with whatever for 0. its about people blatantly cheating.it is on the rise.

you only have to search google for free dirty bomb hacks to see there is a big issue at the moment. what annoys me at moment is the ones im running into in normal pub games are just so blatant. they not even hiding it even advertising the hacks while 360 aimbot headshots.

then you have to wonder is the anticheat even working. lol.

this games great but when its like this it just makes you not want to play which is sad.

lol on the free site i just been reading they are even adding there steam ids . i tell you how hard is to just ban em.

i do agree, the fair fight needs to be adjusted or something. As i have seen the same hackers like 3 or 4 days after i first reported them, yet i got kicked by fair fight from a server because i killed an entire execution team with one Kira laser, people tend to walk into it for some reason.

(Matuno) #43

@Havik_Gaming You don’t get kicked for performance, you get kicked when the anticheat crashes in the background and the game cannot verify your legitimacy.

Also, two posts in a row that have little to do with the topic at hand, but only promote your score/performance/whatever.

You can google for “free hacks” for any game. So I’m not sure what your point is. You also don’t appear to understand how anticheat systems work despite the being explained at length on this forum multiple times (including recently).

Just try to remember that paranoia can be as bad or worse than actual cheating. And I saw almost entirely paranoia this weekend as opposed to cheating. Go to spec and watch people and record if you can. If you feel like reporting them then do it. Support has access to tools that can help them look into cases. Believe it or not the community can’t be fully passive and has to help out. Some people are blatantly obvious so report them and leave the server.

(asparagusMist) #45

thats the point the people blatantly cheating are reported.oh look they all still playing. i also used to be a anticheat for over 10 years so its not like oh look that guy beat me its a hacker. 360 blatant headshot people . using free multihacks.even with linked steam names on the same site.

(Amerika) #46

If you have that kind of experience you should know how AC systems work.

(Matuno) #47

Just do me a favour and don’t deny it based on your own experiences @Amerika. There really is a wave going on, and only a few I’ve dealt with in the past few days are actually blatant.

(Amerika) #48

I’m sure there is as there has been in the past and probably now due to the event (which has also brought back good players to pubs). But it also creates a crap ton of paranoia too which is just as bad and sometimes even worse. So I’m not denying anything. I’m encouraging people to use their brains and the tools they have at their disposal to figure out what’s going on as best they can. I rarely ever see anybody who is calling cheats even go to spec.

And I could say the same thing to you basing the wave off of your own limited experience. I at least acknowledged mine in my post, “My sample size wasn’t that big despite my play time and I realize this is a personal observation so grain of salt and all that”. Or did you miss that?

(MisterMurder) #49

I scored 60/17 with Proxy on my small account. Got accused of cheating

(Matuno) #50

And another one today. Aim fixed, but not on the head.
Could see it when spectating, the crosshair stays on one exact spot and reacts 1:1 to the enemy jumping. Also, kept looking at enemies through walls despite not being able to see or hear them.

That’s four in three days time, with that unconfirmed fifth.

EDIT:
Never mind, it’s the same guy I reported a few days ago, he just changed his name several times.

(Matuno) #51

And another one, yaay.

(Jostabeere) #52

What I’m more surprised about isn’t how many of them are in the game, but how badly the support operates reports. I’ve, well, me and @SirMurder reported a player for wallhacking with a video and screenshots of his broadcase with visible ESP boxes around enemies. The report is 6 days old. Radrodo made his fancy copypasta reply, but the cheater is still happily playing and wallhacking. And other GMs simply reply with standard BS like “we will forward this”. If a rampant cheater isn’t their first priority, I’m slowly losing faith in the support team.

(D'@athi) #53

“working as intended”?

(MTLMortis) #54

Let’s not forget that they probably have hundreds of enails and cases to review a day. I do know that all the hackers I’ve reported with video evidence have been positively banned. The in-game reports, not so much. Six days does sound too long though. Maybe he wasn’t cheating and/or your video isn’t as conclusive?

Yeah, he got banned today. Was really satisfying since the guy spent ~$300 on the game. Still. 6 days is too much to ban an obvious cheater imo.

(RedBeard) #56

FIX A VERTICAL BUG WITH LINE OF SIGHT CAMERA?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

(GODZ1337) #57

Even my old friend started cheating.
DELETED

(Ardez1) #58

@GODZ1337 There is a strict no naming and shaming policy on these forums. Please report any cheaters directly to Nexon Support or by using the in game reporting tool.

Thank you!

(asparagusMist) #59

this needs to be got a grip of.just joined a game two different cheaters same game.i have even recorded the guy aimbotting. 1 shot carbine headshot everytime.the other guy on his team was using a wallhack.submitted the ticket and reported aimbot but have not much faith in them actually being banned.

when a guy one shot headshots a whole game every kill one shot for 10 minutes you would think the anticheat would pick up.

As long as you spectate the guy and notice any form of snapping/pre-aiming in illogical place/1:1 reaction to jumps.
