Can someone (who knows such stuff) share with the group whether something like this http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/3992/ is available or possible in ET? With all the talk about ET being CPU-bound, I’d think that this could really help.
One question I have now: Is this optimization in the engine or game code? If it’s in the game code, and if SD didn’t happen to put in the same code that these fellas are compiling out, then this will be a short thread.
