You mean which maps are in rotation on a server? Or which core objectives have to be done within a map?
In the news...
I mean map rotation. It’s still a bit unclear how the story line is supposed to advance in multiplayer.
But yes, basically I meant beside whatever you guys plan to do with the story and stopwatch matches; random maps lose from any narrative that connects them (like the next map being subject to vote like in TF2).
I started to write up a practical example of how the whole thing works, but then I realized it’d probably get yanked because we haven’t talked about this stuff much in public yet… so instead, it’s banana conga line!

Understandable indeed.
Now all I need to do is bribe the next interviewer to ask the right questions.
Yeah, it’s amazing to me no matter how many times we do interviews on various websites, there’s always people in the talkbacks who say “I’ve never heard of this game, and now I’m interested”, even though we’ve had magazine covers and lots of coverage from several different events. Just goes to show that we have to keep getting the message out over and over to hit as many people as possible. Sorry for the repeated messages
And yes, I know video would be very nice to get out there. Believe me, we want it out there too!
Don’t worry, the problem lies with interviewers not researching their subject and asking the same questions everybody else asks.
I would love to see how effective the interviews are to the sales. How many units does one interview result into would be a really nice thing to know (and perhaps a bit more stimulating for the guys like you who have to be a broken record all the time).
Don’t worry, the problem lies with interviewers not researching their subject and asking the same questions everybody else asks.
To be honest I have enjoyed watching the interviews. Sure, the basic questions are the same but there is always some variety and everybody who has been interviewed has done a good job of giving interesting answers.
The only thing that bored me very quickly were the reviews of the presentation. They were always the same as everybody had seen more or less exactly the same.

Give gametrailers.com a call. Get them to do an interview for you, that will get you loads of interest in the game. The little websites don’t make much of a difference, it’s the big ones you want to tackle (IGN, Gametrailers, even Inside Xbox). Get these sites/companies to get the game well known and you are already on you way to BIG SALES! YAY
Great, let´s latch on to that hype. COD put themselves forward as the most popular game of all time. Let´s Brink put itself forward as the creme de la creme of all shooters.

Yeah this stuff has been posted all over the site, have a look at the news on the frontpage :P. No problem though, good to have the news in one place for newcomers.
