I don’t really get that part. I’m not familiar with the other guys but Mattc0m comes from quake wars and he should have some good questions that relate to us.

I mean, it seems they’re just going to talk about their own competitive experiences and what Brink would need/should do to be successful in that aspect. It doesn’t seem like they’ve actually played the game so they probably won’t have insights into Brink itself [only references from the other ET games]. Also, whatever conclusion they reach will probably not be included in the current release. Last, its not an interview so they aren’t going to be asking any questions that might be answered by the dev team.

tldr: pro players talking about what they expect/want from the competitive side of Brink

Our goal is to achieve the best and well-sustained competitive gaming community for the upcoming First Person Shooter BRINK.

How do we achieve this? By working together, having a place to connect, sharing ideas, and just chatting with fellow gamers we can get BRINK headed on the right path.

Why would you care? Well, to put it simply - we are answering your questions. In attendance on May 1st we will have Core Gamers point guard Zoidbergenstein, TF2’s Master of the Air Rocket TecHNaSTy, the owner of Blight Gaming BlackFoger, and broadcaster of QLTV (and now founder of BRINK TV) Mattc0m. Throwing the questions against the wall will be PlayIGL.com Brink Admin bosnaK, and directed by the founder of Gamers Portal Habibi.

We will cover a wide variety of topics in our discussion and hear about strategies our VIPs have seen in their gaming careers as to what makes the competitive community a success. Afterwards, our moderators will be fielding audience questions from attendees (that’s you) to ask our panel.

It’s correct. It’s an abbreviation for the Latin phrase “curriculum vitae”, and lists personal achevements.

Walked into WalMart today, and one of the big cardboard advertisments they use to cover their security sensors was for Brink. I saw it on my way out, because on my way in all I saw was the far more important ad for the DVD release of the Justin Beiber autobiographical movie!!!
