There must be a limit to the amount of damage it can protect you from though. Otherwise you could just always use it before planting a bomb or completing an objective.

(LyndonL) #662

I don’t think there’d be a limit to the damage, but the time of it would come into it.

Ie Adrenalin lasts for 2-3 seconds, but it takes 4-5 seconds to plant a bomb perhaps.

(3Suns) #663

I think adrenaline they way I have heard it described is a fantastic option, very well implemented.

(Exedore) #664

You cannot self-buff Adrenaline. We actually had it that way for a long time, but it’s a team game, afterall…

(Wraith) #665

Make sense since you don’t want the medic rushing the objective you want him a bit of ways away to heal and revive if you fail.

(Humate) #666

Deserves a mention here imo

Nice! Some extended play. :stroggtapir:

This is one of the best shaky cams out there. People don’t know how to play the game, so the exciting gameplay vids won’t be coming out until after the game releases.

(Seyu) #668

It’s so good that Humate has posted it on the forums thrice!

(madness) #669

the HUD looks seriously annoying…cluttered with icons. And what’s with the outlines on player models ? Is this game for blind people ?
hope most of those stuff, if not all, can be turned off.

(LyndonL) #670

Yeah awesome, let’s discuss the HUD/Aura in yet ANOTHER thread…

Brink wrapped up the #3 slot in StrategyInformer’s best games at PAX, and was the highest ranked shooter. Another positive comment for AI as well.
can medic use adrenaline boost on himself? this will be powerful:) (or sharing adrenaline boost between other medics)

ps. Violence is not the answer. It is the solution;)
no, medics instead use Viagra boost perk, starting from 32 lvl.
its had [virtually]same effect, with few [annoying]side effects[to keep things balanced].

(Seyu) #673

And which of course also gives the medics a stand to place their machine guns on.

No grenade spam, all the grenades are on a cooldown. Also, grenades are assist weapons, not kill weapons. They knock you down and make you vulnerable but they don’t do that much damage.

Great that seems to be more of their use in real life as well.

(Nail) #676

concussion grenades are far more effective in closed spaces than fragmentation grenades, so this is very true
