In-Game graphical issue

I don’t know if this is the place to post this or not but im getting highly frustrated. During the game sometimes it will freeze for a couple seconds (sounds loop staticy like during the freezing) and then ill be able to play again. Its getting really frustrating. I get 70-99 fps usually and i have a geforce fx 5200 graphics card. Please someone help me!

try setting /pb_system 1

try exiting any antivirus before you start playing (esp. norton, apparently, though mine’s fine). Exit it properly dont just kill it with task manager. actually try exiting any other unnecessary running programs before you play.

Also defrag your hard disk etc.

I was having this problem for a few days, i found that by killing all processes in the task manager apart from critical system processes fixed it
