I got the chance to meet some of the Id guys at Quake CON a few years ago, and made this suggestion then, I hope it gets more attention now -
First, is anything like this included? if not can ya add this stuff in (since it’s still in progress)
Proximity voice communication, along with radio chat similar to BF2
Team work and smack talk sounds like a lot of fun to me, don’t like it, turn off the volume or play on a server that has it disabled. I know there is team speak out there, but as of 2006 I kind of expect this stuff in state of the art games now.
Okay I can accept that (as if I have a choice) the game won’t be out for a few more months. Still, it would be GREAT to have a beta demo with one map to give me, you, and all the others disgusted with EA’s support (to many bugs) something to do, a chance to switch loyalties as fast as we can.
I’m a Quaker from wayyyy back , AGQ2, and would rather be playing a game made by some of the people I’ve met, played against, and have enough interest in the game to do it right and not just fast.
