Those already contradict each other. Also, making it so you can only reroll is also a terrible idea, it would screw people over who have traded up for the same merc multiple times trying to get the best loadout. It would also be shit for people that get loadouts for mercs they don’t like or loadouts for a merc which they already have a cobalt for from cases.

@Clown Oops, a typo. What it’s supposed to say is you won’t get the exact same loadout twice in a row. I’ll edit that in.
On another note, thoughts about the second suggestion?
I’m not sure about it, I think making the trade-in system simply cost 2 cobalts, a cobalt and a gold or something along those lines is a much simpler solution. I’m also not a fan of the idea of being able to use the bottom tier loadouts to be able to reroll your cobalt.

@gg2ez Okay. The first one seems absolutely fine, but how many cards do you return with this >9k credit fee?
Second one doesn’t seem to work out quite well…
Give 40 leads to get a “chosen skin”. What is your vision of how the design is going to look? Because if you need to place like 40 cards… I guess there will be a lack of design/overview. Besides. You absolutely missed out on Silver! How much is silver going to be? 35?
My suggestion?
Only silvers (40p) and golds (50p). This way you have a max of placing 10 cards.
EDIT: After some re-thinking… The second GOLD option is actually the most horrific idea! Let’s do some methametics:
400 points / 50 points (gold cards) = 8 gold cards.
8 golds x 4 (silvers needed for 1 gold card) = 8 gold cards (or… 32 silver cards)
400 points / 40 points (silver cards) = 10 silver cards.
10 silvers = 2 golds + 2 silvers = 2,5 golds = compared fair price.

Have multiple Cobalts for mercs you don’t care for - 2xCobalt => Cobalt with merc, loadout and skin of your choosing.
This is what I’d consider fair in the boundaries of the current system. I don’t like the system very much, but that’s a topic for another discussion.
Getting to Cobalt via trade-ups takes a lot of time. A reroll guarantees getting a usable loadout at a reasonable time and cost. Without that guarantee the end goal of trading up feels more like a punishment than reward.
Simply changing trading in from 3 to 2 changes very little - the odds of getting a good loadout are still very much against you.

Nope. I don’t wanna pay any Cobalts. I’d be fine with Golds but I sure as hell will not pay Cobalts, especially with the limited amount of chance to get a Cobalt anyways. Hell, I’d even sacrifice EVERYTHING under Silver in my inventory rather than pay another 2 Cobalts.

Not sure if this has been brought up, but… I was noticing last night, that I have nine pages of loadout cards that I don’t want/need. It would be awesome if we could trade them in for XP. I wonder if that’s something the dev’s could consider making an option?
@flaxUser Not sure why you would like to receive XP, as it only stands for “amount of time played DB”.
Nevertheless, I guess they won’t implent this, as it seems (sorry to say) kinda unfair/useless…
No worries to me if they don’t implement it. But, for me… I seen 9 pages of loadout cards that I would probably never use, kind of useless. It would be cool to see them do something other than a “trade in” or “trade up” with loadout cards. Like being able to apply cards not in use towards the purchase of other mercs…
@flaxUser With you stating that, I guess it would be a better idea to do a “trade-credits” option instead of a “trade-xp” option. A lot of players are dying for credits and so might be useful for those in need.

@DMaster2 What could the devs possibly gain from taking 2 Cobalts instead of 2 Golds? It’s not like I paid real money for either of them.
