so if you set filter for ( accept only bronze ) and you get iron it gets automatically deleted and THAN yesssss me happy :slight_smile:

you could also make it possible to trade that way only up to bronze

because there is no justified point to go above bronze since in game i do not notice or see skins on enemy or friendly EVER

if we ever get face camera maybe than there would be a SOME reason to go beyond bronze

(Bad English incoming) Well, I like the new trade-in concept. Actually it’s not worth the price, but maybe if you trade like 3 or 2 loadoutcards, and pay an amount of credits and selecting a loadout card in your choice.

The credits is not an issue for me. It’s the 3 for 1 ides that lacks any real logic. Hope you guys are as quick to fix it as you were quick to admit to the mess up, huge respect for that.

How about this:
Usually you give 6 golds + 10k for an cobalt.
So as you pay 3 cobalts, which is 50% less than golds, add 50% to the credits price?
So you get:

1 cobalt = 6 gold + 10k
3 cobalts + 15k.

Seems like a reasonable deal to me. o:)

Personally I would like a cash-in system. That way you can buy normal cases, and trade-up to whatever. Cobalts would give like 24k etc. At the moment, you can turn your cash into cards, but you can’t turn your cards into cash.

Cobalts are just prettier bronze cards, yeah but once you obtained the best bronze loadout for every merc you need something to spend credits on. Plus Cobalts are beautiful compared to a boring camo pattern on bronze. (Swiss Red is also amazing, too bad i always get bamboo :cry: )

I have 3 cobalt cards after almost 300h of playing, which imo is perfect. Every cobalt card feels like a trophy or an achievement.

@pxK I got a cobalt in free elite case and i traded up two of them. I opened only like 5 elite cases and 5 expert cases…

Have 500+ hours of game, and I have one Fletcher cobalt I traded… Got simeon loadout :confused: But yeah, I know the feeling :confused:

i have one shiny vasili and i think it shoulnd be free because its like skins in cs go :confused:
but i see pelple wants free cobalts soo i only want one thing please make getting good cobalts easier but dont make cobalts easy
to get

and getting that vasili took me 270h ;_;

Yeah, I got the A62 (Anhuld, Simeon - Sneaky/Cool/QuickDraw). At least mine has quickdraw wich helps with the stickies, but lock-on is still better, the simeon is the worst part. I was trying for the chrome A31, but the dark/galaxy colors I got kinda grew on me, looks nice. Depending on what they make of the trading system I might reroll it, if they make it 1:1.

The dark color I think you are speaking of is actually the chrome model, but with high quality textures turned off. @pxK

I don’t see the pricing of whatever Trade In( or Down or Across or whatever it will be) being a key factor of the problem. If you have cobalt cards or don’t but you want one, your problem isn’t going to be credits. I unlocked all the mercs before even getting my first cobalt from a regular case (RNGesus, y u Arty??) and now I can work on trading up to cobalt cards BECAUSE i have all these credits I can’t cash in anywhere else.

I would be ready to pay 50k for one re roll of a cobalt card,given I could choose what merc it would be. Simply choosing what exact loadout and even skin you get seems way too easy and it would remove the entire “omg, he just killed me with the perfect cobalt sparks loadout, I’m so jelly”-feeling of the cobalt cards.

The problem with the current system is that you can potentially lose 24k credits and TWO cobalt cards for getting a new but perhaps just as shitty one.

So in total, my solution would be
-Increase Credit price of new Trade In
-Decrease used cobalt cards to 1
-keep RNG
-keep choosinp the merc

At face value I found this to be huge ripoff. To be a good sport I tried it out and now regret it. I traded 3 cobalt cards for a single cobalt card. That alone is a terrible deal, but then the wound was salted with a 24K credit charge. In the end I got another cobalt card I don’t want and my credits drained. Lesson learned.

I’d support trading with a “one-for-one” deal (1 cobalt for 1 cobalt) with a reasonable service charge (in credits). I’d even support a trade down to lesser cards (i.e. 1 cobalt for 3-4 golds) with a service charge. However at the present this deal smells like typical Nexon greed.

Charging a player to trade cards seems fair, but this penalty system is terrible

@JonSnow I also had 3 cobalts after 300 hours or so. I got 2 in regular cases for just playing the game, 1 aura and 1 fragger. And I traded up a phoenix with 6 golds. I dont really play aura and I already have the Alienware loadout for her, so if I had the option to reroll my cobalt aura for a random cobalt that would be awesome.

I think it would be a fair idea to trade one cobalt + x amount of credits for a random cobalt card. So not merc specific, just any cobalt card in the game for any merc. I think 20.000-30.000 is a fair deal, mayby also add an option to pay for it with real $$$

“Trade In” is TERRIBLE. It’s got a lower value for content ratio than an overpriced fake Rolex. Cobalts are so rare that even paying for a higher chance to get a Cobalt will usually result in not getting one at all so heres to wondering why SD would think that I’d like to trade in 3 of them for another random, which might be worse than the one I’m trading in.

Whilst it’s good news that SD plans to rework the Trade-In system, I’m still keeping my fingers crossed that they don’t mess it up again.

Suggestions:

  1. Reroll
    [list]
  2. Credit fee of >9000 in order to reroll
  3. Card can only be rerolled into the same merc
  4. Guaruntee that you won’t get the same loadout twice in a row

  5. Fusion
    [list]
  6. Leads = 10 points
  7. Irons = 20 points
  8. Bronzes = 30 points
  9. Golds = 40 points
    [list]
  10. Combine cards to make a total of 200 points to reroll
  11. Combine cards to make a total of 400 points to choose a skin and reroll
