There was some info i think, some kind of rotation system for the mercs, if I understood it correct, not all mercs available etc, and improved matchmaking system. But not much info at all. Some new maps would be great. There must be something extra for shore, With so much downtown that it takes weeks. They may loose players to other betas like the new battlefield game. But they may afford it, I don’t know, depends on number of betakeys that is out now and how many new players there is in line, waiting for keys (I know a few). If I was a developer would I consider as less downtime as I can. Run parallel servers ready to switch etc. It depends on what they actually do…
Some payment system has to be introduced at some time for example (nothing is free)…
In the new patch I’d love to see lots and lots of bug fixes. Spawning without primary, floating without full control over character or being invisible happened way to often to leave it like that. I hope at least that gets fixed in addition to rotation system and new content.
It would also be amazing if some of the characters that had been removed in previous patches be reinstated into the game!

The maps in Dirty Bomb are unique to each other and of course to others in the entire gaming industry. They focus very heavily on objectives that are strictly implemented in a specific map. This is just like Wolfenstein Enemy Territory and is also one of the reasons what set it apart from other shooters.
Because of this though, it takes a lot more time to design and develop a map. For example, Call of Duty maps can be made in developed within days. There is no depth or those strict objective settings. Anyway, back to the point. Give these people some time to patch up the game. The biggest priority right now is to make the game play well. After that, more maps will probably be made.

A question that comes to mind is, If the maps are so bad, why are you playing the game? or even follow the development? There is plenty of brain dead shooters out there… COD, CS, QuakeLive etc, just pick one… Its very hard to make a balanced ET map, trust me. I have done a few, with DB its even harder with all the new stuff. A working COD, CS or Quakelivemap I can make in a few hours… NP, course the objectives and goals are so simple that even a monkey could play the game… in RTCW/ET/Brink/DB etc its another story…

Map still the issue number 1 of this game, it’s a well known fact now, I just hope SD give us proper maps in a near futur.
don’t worry, Bumba isn’t allowed to whine about the maps on the SD forums anymore, he just wants an outlet. Unfortunately he has no clue how to fix them, just he don’t like them

yea i agree the maps with objectives get oldddd like how many are there 4 or 5? not enough! maybe you should add a normal map for TDM!!!
