im new, is this a standalone game?

can i just d/l this game and play or do i have to have rtcw? i have rtcw but its not installed right now. If i do need rtcw what updates/patches do i need(havent played that game in a loooong time but i really liked it and now counterstrike is getting boring)

ET is entirely standalone. You don’t need RTCW to play it.

Yes u can just d/load the game and play it, RTCW is NOT needed all you’ll need is the ET 1.02 patch which is less than 4mb’s and u can get it from here: http://gamefiles.blueyonder.co.uk/blueyondergames/enemyterritory/patches/win32/et_patch_1.02.exe

ET was originally meant to be an RTCW expansion pack, then It became a standalone game, but there were some problems with the singleplayer part (I think) which lead to it being made available as a free download and is now a game which has gained popularity VERY quickly.
