Not so much that it sucked…But that it does feel incomplete. I think this is the first time I ever traded a game in so quickly as I did with this one. I wanted to like it but it wasn’t all there. Its one of most linear online multiplayer games out there. Which is odd since it is a FPS shooter. There’s just really no reason to continue playing this game. It has very little to offer and everything is experienced in a matter hrs. I find it amazing that the games main focus is multi-player but they failed on so many aspects in that department. Its like they never seen a multi-player game before. This game is more like a 20-30 dollar arcade game. That’s exactly how it plays. Though homefront was a disappointment as well it did a hell of a lot better than this game did, and did a lot more things right.
I'm done with this game
Homefront did way less than this game did right, I’m sure you’re used to playing CoD and this game requires a bit too much brainpower from you, and that’s ok, not everyone in this world gets to be an engineer, there have to be some janitors.
Homefront is full of campers. There is no teamwork in Homefront. There is no communication at all. I’m pretty sure Brink did things better gameplay-wise.
But to each their own. Go have fun.
So you managed to cram hours and hours if multiplayer at high level play into the span of like…a day?
You didn’t experience everything it had to offer; you unlocked all the abilities and played all the maps. I think you’re missing the point of multiplayer FPS’. They are about the experience, and I don’t mean the treadmill kind.
When PSN is up I look forward to many many fun matches with my friends as opposed to COD where 70% of rounds would piss me off
Who gives a **** stfu and leave, just because you have a voice, it doesn’t mean we care. If you can’t help piss off.
Yes…S/D, your plan is working. You are weeding out all of the people that have no concept of tactics and teamwork. Thank you for making a game too complex for run/gun shooter players to comprehend!
OP, peace out, you just made the game more fun for the rest of us when you traded it in. Thanks!
I’m also really pissed off. I’m done with this game as well.
AS IF A FUSION REACTOR IS ABLE TO MELTDOWN!!! SERIOUSLY What was SD thinking? Everyone is talking about it and it’s just one huge flaw in the plot. Seriously the rest of the game is great but a fusion reactor can’t ever blow up! It totally rips the story apart, I’m not buying this nonsense.
Now I get why everyone is complaining about Brink, the sheer disregard for realism is just ridiculous. If real terrorists wanted threatened with attacking a fusion reactor, then everyone would be laughing at them, they would make an absolute fool out of themselves, but here it’s ‘HERP DERPA DERP WE BLOW UP A FUSION REACTOR HURDUR’ and they SUCCEED AT IT. Oh whoever thought that tup seriously deserves some spanking.
Now granted, in the ETQW forums I mused about a fusion reactor for a map as well, the torus shape of it just really suits it and the reactor map has this shape around the final objective as well, makes for an interesting map. BUT IT CANNOT BLOW UP. IT CANT. If you think this is possible then you deserve all the low ratings and inane reviews the game gets.
If you’re making a game about sustainable development at least get the science right! BAH! Tomorrow I’m returning the game to the shops, I’m not exactly sure where Valve is vested but I’ll find out. I’ll hand it over to Gabe myself if I have to.
No i’m sorry toka but it’s the tattos can’t remove them??? did alll the lasers sink to the bottom of the sea???

To each their own.
There is no communication in Brink either. All the games I played no one had a mic. Not one.

I experienced enough. All the maps. All the weapons. I guess cause I didn’t unllock those cool pants or that face paint I didn’t experience everything this game had to offer right?
Guess again Fanboy.
Not a fan of COD. I play Bad Company.
Oh, hey… so do I! In fact, I don’t play BAD COMPANY. I’ve been playing Battlefield since Battlefield 1942. Really? Fanboy? The fact that you even mentioned you played BAD COMPANY shows that you’ve only been a Battlefield player since Bad Company 1.
I’ve experienced more teamwork the past few laggy days than I EVER have had with the Bad Company series (leaving out BF1942, BF2, and BF2142). I’ve had more fun than I’ve ever had with the Bad Company series because the Bad Company series sucked to begin with! And any true Battlefield player will tell you that.
The story feels incomplete. That’s about it for me.
Though there are some random little things that don’t affect gameplay that are clearly missing from pre-release videos. Such as metal detectors going off if you pass through them.
This game is very good, all they need to do is fix a few minor problems like the online lag on 360 and the textures, other than that the game is great!!!
To each their own.

No communication in Brink? No one had a mic? Are we playing the same game? Were you playing against bots? Do you even know how to play games without bots? Do you even know that there is NO PUBLIC VOIP in standard match types? This is one of the very few games on XBL where people actually use their headsets.

LOL at this Brink Fanboy. Thinks he knows what I play and what I don’t.
Love your logic. If someone Doesn’t enjoy this game its cause they are too simple minded to comprehend its greatness. Lets completely ignore the fact that this game is broken and is getting crap reviews.
He’s playing the same one as me. I can count one hand how many people I’ve heard using the in-game VOIP in Brink. And one of them never spoke, he just had voice activated mode on and was breathing heavy.
And public VOIP does indeed work in standard type matches. That’s where I’ve heard people talking. They were still all on the same team though, it wasn’t truly “public.” And I have yet to actually use the fireteam system, so no, it wasn’t fireteam voip.
This isn’t a fault of the game, though. Just the buttheads playing.

I find it funny that you’re still here. I thought you were done with the game? Why do you feel the need to argue your point? Do you really expect that Brink fans will care or even agree with what you’re saying?
And please stop calling people fanboys. It’s annoying and it shows your true age.
edit: I also find it funny you didn’t reply to my post about Bad Company. hah.
Can we get a Mod to delete this drama queens thread so she will go back to playing barbies.
