the question is why payed 60 dollars?
so many key stores with cheaper prices.
1. I have middle class income
 2. I prefer digital downloads. Reduces clutter.

 1. so why not spend the amount you save to baggers. always better than throw it ea in the throat.
 2. sry i dont understand that scentence .you got only digital downloads in a key store.its the same download only for a more fair price.

but in the end its your money

anyone else a little bit disapointed of tf. its a fun game , but not close to the hype.
the campaign is horrible, the modes arent that great.
the weapons are disapointing.as longer you play you notice that the movement is spamable and too forgiving.(you can with simply spam of the jump button climb nearly every building, even if you failed the jump before)

Not disappointed because I wasn’t hyped for it. Agree with what you said. But it is ā€œfun enoughā€.

anyone who says that its ā€œokā€ or anything other than great, is probably just getting rolled around every corner. im blown away with how good the movement system is. i couldnt believe how much time went into the maps, and how they tweaked each one to fit specific game modes. even the gunplay is made to suit personal preference. yes you need IS at any distance, but you can easily hipfire the smg weapons. i feel like you should just run around with the SG attack, you’ll get some frags, i promise

Right, fair price… I’m sure that is always the cheapest you can get it for.

And buying off origin gives you the option to actually return the game for a full refund if it is ****. I wish I did that for bf4.

Titanfall is really nice, the movement systems is really good. It allows different routes, different play types. The Titans are also nice. The game pace is very nice, short but intense matches, I like it. 7-8 mins full of action.
What I dont like is, that matchmaking isnt working good. When the Point Difference in Attrition is too big, there should be a shuffle or some rebalance. Also the Minions could need some more power, they are weak and no threat at all. Improve the AI, the Matchmaking and reduce the Lobby Time and it’s really good.

im nearly always one the first 3 places .so my problem is more , that its too easy.the movement system is a one button wonder.
all complained about brink in this regard, but in tf nobody cares? i dont want smth i cant get skilled , i dont play football to hit every ball after 1 hour.
the weapons have less recoil thats nice, but the weapondesign is simply bad.
in a space szenario they all use pretty standard smgs?theres nothing new.

Never played Brink, but in Titanfall you have to think how to use the double jump, wall run etc to get somewhere very fast, if you are doing it wrong, you are easy prey.

(stealth6) #170

I did run into some cases where I was running near a wall, jumped and my character started wallrunning when I didn’t want him to. But so far I’ve just blamed my lack of experience with the game. I don’t like to judge a game based on a few evenings of play time, I’ll give it some time first.

(shaftz0r) #171

yeah, i dont agree with anything you’ve written at all attack. i think you’re just playing with terrible players honestly. there’s a decent learning curve to the movement system. if you miss a jump or dont know the map well enough, you’re completely exposed. No there isnt anything amazing about the weapons, but im really happy there arent 5000000000 of them to balance out. they kept the shooting simple and fun, which i give major props to them about.

(k0k0nat) #172

Reasons why I play Titanfall atm:

 • Comfy (lobby, invite friends etc.)
 • Movement feels great
 • Maps are great
 • Perfect for casual ā€œjust came home from workā€
 • Random spread annoys me, but I still kick all asses on pub.

Everything is just simple, comfy and solid.
I wont stick to TF over a long time, but its short fun.

And again its: Performance, Movement, Maps, Hardcore-Bugs, ā€œBasicā€ - Balancing that keeps me from playing xT.
Ill be back if we get major improvements on this points.

Ideas from TF:

None. The game is just too casual and easy.

Take a look at the lobby-system, friends-system, maps and movement. This shows what xT is missing.

xT offers much more!

Improvements take too long, we are here since March 2013 now and we are still missing major improvements.

(attack) #173

i have to do a video to explain what i mean.!
also there is no learning curve. i currently playing some et tj and gammajumping again.thats a learning curve and a system which is skill related!

most important i never said this game is bad. its a good game ,but not close to the 9.5 ratings of some magazines.

this is how skill movement should look like

Why is he constantly jumping and waving his mouse around like an idiot?

what an absolutely horrendous comparison. titanfall is multilevel with innumerable possibilities on how/where to go. i couldve done that run faster than sqzz, but thats what happens when you play a game for years. wait until titanfall has comp support and people have a lot of time to map out routes. ive had as much fun playing ctf on certain maps, as i had in et back in the day, purely from a movement perspective.

you flick in idtech3 to gain speed

sry do it faster and maybe i believe you.(tj server doesnt count because of permadre). sqzz was famous for his movement back in the days.

(spookify) #178

That seems pretty slow to me actually. He did get a few nice jumps in there off the rail to below the radio but as soon as he got out side it was really slow which I dont know was intentional waiting on his team or not but there’s much faster ways to reach the spawn and that turn.

Edit: This also goes to show how a game can change over the years. There was so much less spam in the early years of ET. Then teams got spawn time calculators and motor charts and a bunch of other stuff. It got crazy toward the end of ET…

(Protekt1) #179

I think the only thing I dislike about titanfall is the smart pistol. I think the area of lockon is too big and reduces any minimal tracking you would need in the game for the weapon. Other than that I think it is pretty tight. And I am playing it on minimum resolution atm lol, cause I have to get my GPU replaced… thankfully it is still under warranty.

(Kl3ppy) #180

When you are talking about speed doc run, you should have picked KiH.FeTTe (rtcw)

Yeah, the smart pistol annoys me too. But lets see, I hope for a fix.
