Then we could save the “General Discussion” forum for stuff that actually pertains (generally) to ET. I’m sure there are a few here that would love a romping grounds in which to spam and spew however (and whatever) they please.

Well, I suppose by “ET” I meant “all things SD”–even though, by and large, the majority of SD discussion is ET-only (for the moment).
Making rules (as to the “sanctioned topics of discussion”) for the General Discussion forum isn’t as important to me as creating a tar pit in which obviously off-topic things (the HL2 code leak, “what video card should I buy?” et cetera) could thrive.
