Well as some of us know the thompson’s and mp40’s rate of fire was reduced to be very slow.

It is really easy to kill ppl with it still but it doesnt have a good feel to it. :smiley:

Yeah the MG42 kills ppl like nothing because its a machine gun and it has a good feel to it. It leaves you with the satisfaction of what a machine gun is suppose to do.

But if SD was going to be realistic like that.

They Might as well have made the Rate of Fire to be a lot faster.

Thats about the only thing I can find that troubles me in ET, the satisfaction of killing with a thompson or an mp40.

This subject has been discussed loads elsewhere, go look.

The general consensus of opinion seems to be that the slower rate of fire is a good thing, that it is one of the aspects of E.T. that makes it better than RTCW, and it promotes better aim.

Your poll implies that if the rate of fire were increased people would “get their asses kicked” more. Not so. I therefore can’t vote because I don’t agree with either of the choices. :smiley:

All I can say is that the new rate of fire feels a little odd at first if you come fresh from RtCW but you’ll grow to it soon and than you’ll like it a lot more than RtCW. Trust me, been there, felt that :smiley:

The new ROF is an improvement IMHO! :clap:

As long as everyone’s on a level playing field, I’m happy. If it’s slower for you, it’s slower for your opponents, as well. Personally, I’m loving everything about ET, right now.
