i need to kick them!!!!!!!

hey
lately i have been playing and i have found ppl with ^ at the start of their name and for some reason they cant be kicked cos everytime u choose to kick one the vote doesnt come up?

am i missing something here?

yes it’s a bug (fixed in etpro I think)
you can still do a callvote kick with the player name between " " afaik, or a /pbkick <playernr> . Do /players to know the number.

i am playing on etpro servers its not etpro 3.0.1 but its etpro.

Bani couldnt fix it i think because the game parsed ^ as a random thing or something (lol i do not know shit about programming :)). Anyway, you can do in the console:

/players (gives an overview of connected players, with a number in front of there name (id))
/ref kick #number (for example /ref kick 2)
or /callvote kick 4

Anybody please correct me if im wrong.

Btw pb_kick works with a diffrent id, you have to call for the pb_plist i think.

no etpro didnt fix this
but I did post the solution that I think bacon posted a while back on the etpro forums

however etpro staff may not add it because to do so would stop any use of ^ in the names

I think this particular bug may finally be fixed in our CVS tree (so it’ll be in the next etpro release.)
