what i found most amazing are the unexpected situations you can get into, even after all these years.

like when you manage to rescue a titan from ark 1st objective to be used in the 2nd objective (hapened to me a couple of times). even more funny (and luckier too) was using a desecrator defending refinery 2nd objective. at some point i was more concerned about the vehicle than about the actual objective.

shame that ETQW didn’t get more support(patches, master server, whatever) from SD. the only replacement for this game is Arma 2/3 online gameplay is nice and you can find tons of mods to make awesome missions in coop or PvP.

Errrm … nothing against ARMA 2 or 3, but that’s not what I would call a replacement. There are no replacements for ETQW, there are only other games you have to play now because our genre died out.

well there is, imo. sure it isn’t as fun as ETQW but it’s fun as much! Brink which was supposed to be a successor to etqw wasn’t imo

maybe what the game needs is ranks/stats again.

remember how many people were playing before / after splatterlader went down ?

why not upgrade splatterladder to a new system where players have 3 ranks instead: one based on xp, like before; another based on kills; and another one based on win/defeat ?
