I know this game is coming to the PC, do you think it will come out for the consoles like the PS3 or xbox 360?

Yes, I think a simplified version ported by some other developer will appear on a console (Xbox 360 or PS3) once Activision will notice how popular the PC version got.

As far as I know only a PC version is planned right now, but what do I know anyway…

Yeah I think if they make quake wars for the 360 it will be good but not as good as the PC but Ill still buy the 360 because I dont have a good PC

i do hope more that it comes out for the Wii. would give a totally new playing experience :slight_smile:

although the 360 could need some good games. how often does M$ intend to present gears of war at an E3??? the 360 is currently dead imo. no real innovation behind the console, it isn’t even a multimedia center, it’s only a stupid game console with unattractive games. i wonder with what the PS3 will show up. anyway, the Wii will pwn em all. Wii 4 ze vin! :smiley:

Well I wouldnt say the 360 is dead, I wouldnt go that far, To each their own opinion thou. I do however agree that Nintendos new Wii system will own. The controller and Quake Wars could make interesting gameplay! Maybe. If it could work.

dude, if you don’t already have one, don’t buy one. just look at some friends n such. i have one, and i have bought a lot of games and played a lot of demos. you know what i’m playing for over 3 months now? Enemy Territory. and none of the 360 games.

to say it how it is: currently it seems that the 360 industry tries to convulsively crap out one 1st person shooter after the other only to make the fast money. there is nothing new. you have new graphics, and? try to play full auto. it has good HD graphics, but the game … honestly, if i would have bought it due to lack of games when it came out, i instantly would have sold the 360.

a working colleague of mine bought one last week including quake 4. he said: 60 euro wasted.

just a suggestion: try before you buy. especially if you want to play online because imo xbox live sucks. i don’t want to spend an entire afternoon to try to join a game just to get kicked or have lag or whatever.

the funny part is: now they can’t blame piracy anymore when they see that nobody wants their games …

Its the first generation of the next generation of games. Of course there isn’t anything good out yet, nobody, developer wise, has the real talent. Its much easier and much better to just either port a game or make the games how they used to. Thats where the cash is.

This isn’t going to change for SP3, which is pertty much on par with 360 spec wise no matter what Sony bullshit thay say.

there are allways going to be people complaining about. the ported versions of game. i say if a game can’t be good out of the box then it is not wqorth the piece of paper it is printed on.
