I DEFINITLEY think MODDERS/HACKERS are on brink already
Apoc… I agree that cheats and aimbots DO exist on the PC… in fact, I’ve said so over and over again in my replies.

My point is more toward the OP, who is a console player, that his hackusations are mere suspicions, are hard to prove, and are not worthy of posting 3 separate threads about them. Later I was addressing a different example from a PS3 player who said it was uncommon for someone to kill 3-5 people in 1 life, where I responded with a screenshot showing me getting 3 kills in the span of about 3 seconds (or however long the obit list stays visible).

The platform on which Brink is played makes all the difference when having this discussion.

PC has hacks, cheats and aimbots, sadly. But we cope. We aren’t the ones posting hackusations.

Consoles have single player mods that no one should care about, and maybe, in very rare cases, they might have some form of hack that gets through the online validation stuff for a brief length of time before the offender gets banned from the Live service forever (and is therefore not someone the OP is going to meet online).

In both cases, proving the hack, no matter how obvious, isn’t really possible given the current tools we have for investigating offenses.
i like to see how you feel on this but my threads where all posted days if not weeks apartfrom eachother… so meh right?

then we go down to the meat and potatoes of the situation, 1 i like to think its funny how you say you seem to know that people get banned instantly or even after days where as i have seen MANY people that easily get around validation multiple times over and over, never getting cuaght (it isnt all single player anymore and these arnt your average N64 modders bro)

 1. do you really know? have you played an online xbox game lately? ive seen the same guy on COD mw2 since release week run around with an automatic gun that is single fire, he hasn’t been caught in what a year or two running the same crap different day mod

3.lastley the people that we HACKUSE all have at least 4 XBLAs so when oone gets banned o hai he has another 3 waiting for him, they are generally pretty damn good and oh look they fixed their problem and BLAM right back in with some kind of undedectable mega-demon muther fartin mega hax device that is undetectable…

all im trying to say is you think it cant be done but it is being done to every game you do and dont know with online multiplayer and to accuse someone isnt just a stupid witch hunt youll see a guy throw 2 frag grenades at a time (i even had a witness on spectator watching me as i was getting hit by 2 frags thrown by one assailant) small crap builds some major suspicion

So I’m wondering since you don’t like people modding their controllers to shoot quickly or something because it’s “cheap,” what do you think of Razer’s Onzas? Do you think they’re unfair too, because they aren’t stock controllers and are made to actually be more useful than the crappy MS controllers? Most of the problems people complain about is the game’s fault, not the controllers. I’d take advantage of a game letting me shoot 300 times every few seconds too if the developers make it so the bullets come out as fast as you press/click.

Lago give it a rest already.

Doesn’t surprise me, you’re clueless and now admittedly ignorant. Three threads you’ve been told. Do you educate yourself? Prove anyone wrong? Nope. You keep repeating yourself over and over like you won’t be wrong if you believe in it hard enough.

if it cant be done why is it done on almost all games i have played for the last oh what?? 10 years?

Different systems have different weaknesses. The specific system you are using and talking about does not have the weakness you are attributing to it.

i have seen games as early as PONG modded, just further to continue maiming yourself by pointing the finger but we are now VERY posotive of the threat of people with HAX0RS and M0DS we see it alot now actually even in breenk. idk what you are trying to push here but you are so far wrong its killing me.

You sounds a little paranoid and deluded. If you’re not on drugs you may want to see a mental health professional. If you are on drugs, they’re not helping you.

This first statement is completely false. There have been dozens of times my son has called me into his room to show me aimbots in COD games and exploits done in Team Fortress 2. And in COD particularly, aimbots are common, and while some people do get banned for using them, they do a lot of damage before the ban kicks them.

Second, jut because you can’t prove something, that doesn’t make it invalid. I can’t prove to you, with the tools at my disposal, that I am breathing air. Yet I am.

Aimbots would be more likely to be encountered in Brink because the player base is so small. While I haven’t seen them, I also haven’t played the game in a month-and-a-half. But I won’t be surprised when I return post-DLC and find players using them.
