cross platfor will these issues ever be fixed or will we all be stuck playing this way?
I DEFINITLEY think MODDERS/HACKERS are on brink already
You talking about the light/medium body with heavy weapons glitchers, or have you been running into some lag cheaters?
You load it onto a USB and you have to sort of hack your xbox. The way the aimbots generally work is you pull the left trigger and your cross hairs go to center mass on any enemy you have a line of sight on. It even tracks moving targets as the cross hair moves towards the head. So if you pull LT and immediately hit RT you can blast people. Or you can let the crosshairs float up towards the head and head shot them.
That’s one example of an aimbot. Some people use ones that are auto headshot everytime and even compensate for recoil and spread.
what do Modders have to do with Hackers?
and what do Modders have to do with Consoles Games (other then hacked boxes)
… good lord your an idiot
… leave your parents house for a few hours and go outside !!

gotcha. so it takes some technical know-how and willingness to mod (soft) your xbox? curious not b/c i want to try it (on ps3 anyway), but nothing breaks a game for me like this sort of advantage.
is there any way they get caught (and banned?) i have no experience with the xbox ecosystem, (and honestly, wouldn’t know where to start with the ps3 either), so my optimistic side thinks ppl like this will get their just desserts. cynical side thinks there are ways to bypass…
umm, did you read Jess Alon’s post?
i generally dont give a crap about grammar on a forum b/c we all know what you meant…but if you’re going to call someone an idiot, you probably should use proper grammar.

Supposedly Xbox can catch hackers/modders and when they do they either perma-ban their Live account or supposedly (I have no proof this is only what I hear) they can freeze you xbox, basically turning it into a brick.

Unless you can post some proof that aimbots exist for Brink on the 360, you are talking out of your a$$. Simple as that.
Seriously, stop for a second and explain exactly how you know all this? Did you spectate the “aimbotter” and see the xhair locking on? LOLOLOL
Besides your sore rear end, what makes you think these people are cheating?
If you have proof, like a link to download the aimbot or a forum where people talk about using it or whatever, then submit your proof the proper authority. But seeing as you clearly have no proof…
thats not MODDING a game, thats HACKING!
modding, in gaming terms, are changes made to a game that improves, said game…
i.e. W:ET vanilla was ok- W:ETPRo(MOD) improved the game dramatically…
so again, what does modding have to do with hackers??
I dont give a crap if you find ‘improper grammar’ in my post … but if you do, you are more then welcome to keep them…

we agree then  (i misread your post and thought you meant this wasn’t hacking…my bad…i should follow my own advice, eh?)
why would I bother with proper grammar then?

no hard feelings towards ya fyi-, just the OP- who does nothing but troll out threads/post he or she has no clue about…

First off. You have to DL it via torrent. And I’m not going to explain to you how to cheat.
Most definitely there are aimbots on xbox. I’ve had users admit to me they were using aimbots and I switched to a different match and reported them and at least one of them has been banned. They told me which torrent site to get it from and what name to type in. Just because you don’t see it on the first page of google doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
Also the second time I met someone using aimbot I switched to spectator. It was odd to me how the player in question never had to reload and basically had an infinite clip for some reason. I thought it was a glitch so I switched around and watched other people and then came back to him. Not a single reload for 5 minutes while he was shooting people in succession above, behind, below, next to and all around him in rapid succession. I then rejoined the match on his side and asked him to explain to me how an aimbot works. And what I described before is what he told me. There is a version 1.1 and a version 1.4 and they have slightly different features. He was using 1.1 which was auto headshots, infinite clip, and some kind of ridiculous grenade damage mod for the GLs.
Some signs that you’re against hackers. A lobster round explodes near you and instantly downs you even if you’re a heavy with command post buff and 2 upgraded health command posts, battle hardened AND just self medic buffed. I don’t mean knock down I mean instant from max possible to 0 from one small explosion.
Or seeing 6 barnett headshot kills in 35 seconds pretty consistently by the same player.
Why would I lie about it? I like the game and I hate cheaters.
I haven’t seen any XBOX aimbot videos on youtube YET. But there’s already a PC aimbot in effect as well. And people are putting videos of it up.
I don’t really know what to tell you dude but they are out there.

Modders could mean anything from players who are using modded controllers (rapid-fire, etc…) to people who are using lag switches/pedals or are lag throttling their connections.
In that sense, hackers could be referring to the douche-bags who have gone into the config save files on the console (ex. cvar, did I say that right?) and altered the mechanics/physics/settings/composition of the game. Which ideally would include the use of a usb drive to load the hacked files onto the console.
Hence, “Modders and Hackers” is a very sound term to use in the context of the OP.
Of course, I’m very doubtful that any of the hacking is what the OP was referring to, less he be mistaken.
This happened with the first generation of xbox consoles.
I haven’t heard about them doing this with the xbox 360s, though it might only be because no one has been hard modding them like they did the first ones.
Microsoft’s enforcement team needs some direct evidence to ban someone. They ban people for cheating in really popular games all the time. Brink’s player base is so small (compared to the big military sims) that I don’t know if anyone is even looking for cheating.
Btw, if you ever need a laugh, go to the xbox live support forums and read the posts from people asking why their account was banned. Funny stuff.
