how to setup promod server

hi!
i have dedicated server, unranked, and i wanna to change it to promod.
i installed promod on it, but now im confused, where to put all these cfg files (clanbase cfg fles), simply, how to setpu server properly to competition mode, private server.
its long time i was running servers , i forgot all :)lol

is there some simple, very simple tutorial (copy & paste, drag & drop), what files, with what content to put where? i need help with almost everything, even i dont know how to setup usergroups.dat omg

iirc server’s cfg goes into your server base folder, but I really can be wrong there… You will also need a proper usergroup (admin stuff) in order for the cfg’s to be votable by anyone.

/atm there is 4v4 cb confing, or should be/
-no pass
-no bots

edit.
i just copy cb4v4 config into server.cfg, but admin stuff is still not working. i wanted pass protected server, but i think its stupid idea, there are only 3 promod servers online, and all are pass protected, so thats why noone new is playing promod due stupid restrictions.

I see loads online, some examples:
-TLR.eSports (Pass Protected, but almost everyone knows it so…)
-pro.hlds (Ranked now, i believe)
-Aero ProMod (Pass)
-PL4FC (Pass Protected, but almost everyone knows it so…)
-[JP] ProMod (No Pass, but they’ve increased player speed for some reason)
-ICE Nirvana Custom Maps

Can’t be bothered to name any more, but you get the idea. Just do what it says in Samurai’s Guide and add someone who plays Promod regularly to find out more! :smiley:

Well the most common server where people play pro mod is on the PL4FC server, and the password is: pl4fcwar

However that server is extremely laggy so we could do with finding a new “home” to play in :smiley:
