i want to change to this dirt type textures, the snow gives me headache, anyone got the scoop?
i have seen this for myself while watching replays, for some reason railgun and fueldump change to this dirt type texture instead of snow. I’d like to have it while playing, it would make it a little harder to spot axis but i it gives the map a fresh new look and less headache inducing.

That’ll be a cimpletely different version of the map… everyone on the server will be seeing the same as him. You cant just change textures to suit yourself, if that were the case people would be making transparent textures so they could cheat.
Actually, there are a number of pk3s that simply remap or override the textures. Searching for fueldump spring or something like that should find them.
To be seen on a pure server, the .pk3 must be on the server, but at least on of them is made in such a way that it is optional. If it exists on the client, they will see the spring textures, but if they don’t have it, they will not be forced to download it.
That’s because you have a file called “BD-Fueldump_Spring.pk3” or similar. Like reyalP said you won’t get it on servers unless the server has the same file or is unpure, but you’ll still see it while watching replays.
I’m pretty sure he knows that -.-, he mean’t you can’t change any old texture and then expect it to work on every server not you cannot change any texture!

The only problem with this, is that who ever put the ‘mod’ together did it in a way that the new textures will overwrite the Fuel Dump/Rail Gun/Etc textures of ANY winter map (e.g., Frostbite, Transmitter) on the server, which is listed alphabetically after the mod. Since the mod name starts with ‘BD-’ this guarantees that any winter map is going to get unintentionally affected.
Search instead for a texture pack by RivrStyx which will also replace textures, but only for Fuel Dump and Railgun

Thx for all the responses. I downloaded a 600+mb 90 map pack that made the texture change, it looks very nice 
btw i dont know why the picture looks so dark, it didnt look like that on my pc.
Just changes textures on Fueldump, Railgun, and tram as Iffy said. won’t change other snow maps. Also moves the fog back on railgun.

It has to be on the server also for it to work.
The second one with altered landmine skins is on my server here 69.93.246.233:27960… its running 2.60 and the newest etpro and the texture pk3 will auto download with fast redirect. (usually have players on around 8:00est to whenever.
You cant see axis uniforms properly without the snow, harder to shoot across the map, i had the same problem as you headaches from that map, but if you get pwnt on it… id rather the headache.
