How to get event cases

So today I got my first event drop. 4 weeks into the event, on my first game of week 4. I’ve had 6 boosters since the first week, and now that week 5 was just around the corner, I actually didn’t want to get a case drop. Because then I would have to buy a lot of boosters again (not really, since they don’t work) and probably wouldn’t get a case for my favourite mercs in week 5. But this game never gives you what you want does it? So, if you wish for a case, you wont get one. If you say fuck it, I dont want one, you will get one. 10/10 best method of getting cases, works everytim.

Jokes aside, just another proof boosters don’t actually work. And even if they do at all affect anything, it’s not playtime needed, cause I’ve barely played this game since this bullshit event started, and still I got one.

No! They work as intended! You just did not understand how they work!

I am pretty sure they are giving everyone atleast 1 “lucky drop” so people aren’t totally pissed and newbs can be happy about SPECIAL cards, but your chances of dropping anything with less than 10 boosters is non-existant.

I’m still pissed I was tricked to waste all my credits, no matter how many cards I’ll get. I’d rather spend them on mercs/normal cases.

yeah its funny cause if you spend the 125 000 credits required to get an event case, you could have spent those on 125 equipment cases, probably gotten a few lucky drops, maybe a silver or gold, and a few bronzes, and then traded the rest up. At the end of the day you would have collected a few nice cards instead of one event card.

So yeah, just thought I would point that out. Its ridiculous.

Chuck Norris gets an event case every match…using his kick boosters…and has already opened the obsidian case…getting an aura…with KEK.

Besides with so few cases being dropped you most likely wont get a loadout that you want. That way you will have a special edition card that doesn’t see use!

I actually got a Fragger card from it, and Fragger is the only one I play out of the 4. So I consider myself kinda lucky now.

Apparently you have a better chance of getting a case drop if you have 0 boosters rather than 1-9 boosters. 10 boosters now gives you a guaranteed case within a few games for most people. Just wanted to add that in!

Honestly, I enjoyed the other events a lot more.

What I don’t get: If they did an event with boosters that shorten the time for a drop (as they explained it), why not making a progress bar of, let’s say, 100 game. You play them, and you get a case. Then it resets.
Every booster cuts the countdown by 9 games. To atotal of only 10 games.
And since they already did something similar with the first 3 trinkets, it’s easy to code.

Similar things have been asked for and I remember in a previous thread, after the What The Dickens Event, Raziel even noticed an example of how playtime could be rewarded. She said she was going to mention it to the higher ups. I’m guessing it was either never mentioned or they just didn’t consider it. Someone made a rewards timeline where if you play for x amount of time you get a trinket, and then as you keep playing you get cases and more trinkets.

I like your idea as well. It would be nice to see something like this.

This seems to be how it works for me with anything luck based…if I want it I generally wont get it…but if I try something luck based for the hell of it…I’ve had some decent wins.

I feel you bro i didn’t get a single Event loadout for the ‘Containment Wars’ or ‘What The Dickens’ events.

So this event i spent 375k Credits on Boosters to get 3 oh man :confused:

I got 3 event cases, every one on the first day of a suspect rotation. Sadly it broke on the 4th week and i got none. I played a ton, but i dont think its possible to just randomly get one.
Ya need teh glitch in da system brotha’!

Im happy to see tho that SD/Nexon finally decided to give something guaranteed (culprit case) which was the problem with the previous events. Ppl like me, who never got any spec event cards already forgot about those events. Apart from the memories of frustration ofc. C:

i bought 2 boosters after downloading update played few games, went on db forums to see how new skins looks like… but instead of that i saw shitstorm, didnt bought more boosters, didnt got case but i saw 3rd lvl with 383 sparks
