How to connect to a private slot ?

Hi,
there is a setting in your server.cfg where one can decide if one want to have private solts or not.
set sv_privatePassword “password”
set sv_privateclients 2 ( e.g )

now my question is : How do i connect to such an privateclient? ( slot ) ???

before connecting…
/password “password”

and it should hop you in a private slot.

If you use ASE you can also enter the password in the server properties (F4).

btw the sv_maxclients setting includes the private slots, so if you wanted to have a 16 player server plus 2 private slots, then be sure to set sv_maxclients to 18 and sv_privateclients to 2.
