How the wrench acts/works

Which we know from RTCW and ET won’t happen. I’m afraid you’re wrong here, Tast1c. In the 1000s of hours I sunk into two games that let engineers plant wherever they want, what you’re suggesting happened a handful of times at most - and even then nobody cared.

Tast1c may i ask you how long you play online games on the pc, because its obvious that you don’t without insulting you.

Every second pub player will go for c4 wait in a corner the whole match and tries to get a multi kill within half an hour, and you insane ppl support that?
Cmon lets be serious and reasonable. This is even a worse Idea than all of mine combined

Your must be trolling here right ? or you missed the phrases about the learning curve in a game, again people are not stupid its what developers made them over the years.
for example to play a game years ago you had to do lots of updates and downloads to get in a mp game, but … you did (with the help from others)
Im not stick in time, but if you do make a PC only title like SD is doing why don’t take the full opportunity !

Don’t fix whats working.

I agree with this 100% - both ET and ETQW let you plant TNT/Charges wherever you wanted but guess what people didn’t because it’d use up their action bar, in fact the only time I ever saw someone use a TNT that wasn’t on an obj, was on Gold Rush once the tank had passed the first barrier, crazily enough someone had the great idea of planting TNT on the tank and timing it just right so that it went off as the tank reached barrier 2 and destroyed it. We couldn’t believe it! That was so frickin awesome and took huge amounts and timing to pull off.

Another good example from etqw, which people commonly used, was to sneak up on heavy strogg vehicles and plant an explosive. 30 seconds later the vehicle they are terrorizing you spawn point with goes boom and your team rallies and pushes forward. That was fun, skillful and useful.
Quite often a single soldier could sneak up on that huge walking behemoth and plant a charge on its leg…that pretty much took care of that. So again, quite useful.
While I realize we have no vehicles here, I’m just making the point that people will find creative ways to use it which are not silly, but rather, useful. They just need the freedom to do so.
