How SMART are you?

So as actions we have walk, run, mantle, vault, jump, and slide? Are there others? What are we missing?

Wall-hop. I think that’s it.

(Jimmy James) #63

Only light builds can do that right?

Oh and where is this strategy guide and why do I not have it right now!?

Strategy guide is supreme! So many nuances in there you would never know without it. Especially SMART techniques.

Get the pdf on Steam http://store.steampowered.com/app/22890/

yes wall-hop is restricted to lights. Mantling is restricted from Heavies.

Strategy guide… for Brink? I don’t pay people to tell me how to play the game.

(Jimmy James) #67

So you’re saying software manuals should be free? That would put my wife out of a job.

(NigelDocker) #68

Lol what you haveto pay for it? is that a joke, its not rocket science. Quite an easy game just gotta get usedto it n learn the different ways how to play. which is quite simple

(TruGamer97) #69

Hmm I make a private game with only me in it and play as a light and I look for shortcuts and places that I can get to from wall-hops

(Bittermetal) #70

nope. The thing is a tome 336 pages. There is so much in the game that is far from obvious. So many different strategies. The strat guide is quite something. And I don’t buy strat guides often at all. Fallout, Morrowing and Tekken waaay back in the day. That’s it.

(Throbblefoot) #71

Actually, I just convinced my employer to give away some really helpful tech docs because they encourage the community to understand the product and thrive. Sometimes free stuff is to everyone’s benefit.

Ive played for long enough, and have 5 levels 20 characters, ive experimented and played in everyway that you can and used all the strategies there are. I did when I level’d my 3rd char, nothing more to learn since then.
As games go Brink doesnt take a very high level of intellegence to know inside out and doesnt have all that much to it. You certainly dont need a 336 page book to learn how to play Brink lol.

Its not to learn how to play it is a strategy guide. It touches on a lot of strategies one might not think of.

Just the way you worded your comment above is just too holier-than-thou for me. You would never know if you know everything there is to if you refuse to be open to the fact you don’t know everything.

Like Michael Jordan says; “You will fail, 100% of the time at everything you don’t try.”

Also…“Humility is a great foundation to build wisdom.”
