How much would you pay for weapon add ons?

(SnipingMeerkat) #1

I would pay 80-200 Microsoft points for weapon packs. 80 msp could be just a single weapon while 200 msp could be a pack of 3 weapons like the Just Cause 2 boom pack. They could also implement a voting system of all weapons and each month or so, they could create the 3 highest voted weapon. The vote could be something like
G36C- vote(34)
Uzi-vote(21)
Etc…
What do you think?:stroggbanana:

I would pay Nothing

(sithhappens) #3

im for anything new as long as it is balanced and add more options to the game play great idea

(Kurushi) #4

I’m against buying weapons. Sidegrades or not, I want a level playing field. Maps and stuff fine, but not this kinda thing

(Nicko1021) #5

Only if others can get it for free somehow (but it’s harder for them).

(FireWorks) #6

Nothing. Definitly nothing.

(SinDonor) #7

I am for weapons packs and the sort, as long as they are balanced and not OP’d over the default weapons.

On that note, gimme a flamethrower, proximity mines, smoke grenades and a heavy rocket launcher.

(R_Shackelford) #8

Nada. No one should have to pay for weapons, attachments, abilities, or level cap increases, and I think it’s BS that after two weeks, people will have to pay for those in the upcoming DLC.

The only things that should potentially cost money are maps and cosmetics.

(Oschino1907) #9

What about if they PAY ME to accept new weapon add ons… I would be all for that!

(miDGet) #10

Zero. i won’t pay for anything that gets added to brink later on. i’m disappointed by the game itself, it doesn’t deserve more purchases IMO.

This would be fine with me.

Adding any other “normal” guns are really just cosmetics. What differences can there possibly be? There are loads of guns in the game already that cover every need. Different stuff like crossbows (nice cheap resistance weapon), harpoon guns (which fit nicely in the Ark at sea kind of weapon) are your best bet. Someone else said tazer, again fits the Police archtype and has a different look to weapons already in the game.

But as for price, I still feel that maps should be released free to all and extra sweet stuff, whilst lovely to be free, I have no issues paying for it as long as the price was fair.

Shall we say £1/extra? Plus, that also kinds of makes the client really needing to be free and the real green made from selling extras.

(Oschino1907) #12

How bout no new weapons or add ons to purchase (should be free) but just make gun skins for sale, charge like .50-$2.00 depending how far they go with it, could be simple color changes or detailed/dynamic skins.

(Nicko1021) #13

Imo if you spend ANY money on anything cosmetic, you are an idiot (even if its 50 cents).

(R_Shackelford) #14

Never said I would pay for cosmetics.

(AmishWarMachine) #15

1 meellion dollars!

Paid micro-transactional DLC really has some people hooked deep.

Wouldn’t pay for content like that in a million years. Would be prepared to pay for a substantial (key word) expansion pack but not for tiny additions to the game.

(Apples) #18

Exactly 0 euros

(AmishWarMachine) #19

What’s that convert to these days, $50 USD?

(Tandem) #20

Nada.
I’m not sure what a Microsoft Point is, but it sounds tacky.
