How much would you pay for a female char DLC?

(SphereCow) #41
No, it would mean taking time away from other DLC for the sake of a minority.

Not to mention women fighting on the front-lines is a rarity, most modern armies don’t let women fight in the infantry for various reasons, not to mention the are too valuable.

I would rather them add them in the next game with a reason why they have joined the fight.
Why do people have to contrive the ****tiest excuses when forming an argument?

I talk to all the women/men I play ET with.

Secondly, would women fit in Brink? .
if women don’t fit into brink…then i agree competely with the Resistance. i mean…i’d want to get off that damn sausage fest island too.

(Mustkunstn1k) #43

Doesn’t bother or affect me.

(Nail) #44

back to the cost

Motion Capture Studio - $200,000 - $300,000
Actors - $500 - $600 per day per actor
then there pre and post production costs, artist costs, animators etc.
How many DLC for 1 character are needed to cover the cost of supplying something that is only cosmetic and adds nothing to gameplay

(Wieke) #45

Well $10 seems reasonable to me.

Though I wonder, would we europeans be charged 8.33 euro’s? (Thats $10 + 19% VAT in euros.)

Doesn’t SD already have a mocap studio?

(howie) #47

wtff! how does this thread exist? Who in their right mind would pay for female characters?

(H3LLS1) #48

Cuz we all already posted in the lobby thread…and we’re tired of either defending or trashing the game. this is all that’s left to talk about

LOL

(Smokeskin) #49

I think female should be an option for light only. The mediums and heavies would look stupid.

(Lydia) #50

The medium would look just fine . Heavy would look a bit off , but Light as a skinny girl and medium , well a normal , trained woman , i think that would work . Heavy though is really a bit off

(tokamak) #52

Yeah, there’s no such thing as a heavy woman

(Nail) #53

Nope, it was hired

yep, and they would only have to sell a couple hundred thousand to break even

(H3LLS1) #55

well…not that I’LL admit to knowing…

cough.

(iezza) #56

Yash, heavy would be a bit off, but you could probably scale up the mediums dimensions a bit. But i think its a bit unfair, claiming to have all that customizations and not even a female character, you know, yhey could have doubled that impressive figure.

/Justin.

(Smokeskin) #57

Hahaha how do you think Brink’s aesthetic style with exagerated facial features would look for female chars?

(Lydia) #58

Ok , then go to the game , got to the Resort map and look at the girls on the Wallpapers .
I´ll mae you a screen . They are beatifull

(Farlong) #59

I would not pay for them, even though I’d like to see them in-game.
I admit I was a bit disappointed that there were none.

Of course not. They are just ‘generously proportioned’ and look ‘healthy’. :stuck_out_tongue:

(riptide) #60

I voted for nothing because I wouldn’t pay for any customization features, male or female, since it has no bearing on the game play.

That being said I’d play a female character if I had the option to because of the smaller models. I guess it would have an effect on game play by making me harder to hit. Oh well I’d still pay nothing and would only do it if it was an option.
