hi all i am running a et server and this annoying ****** keeps on ,spawnkilling,using autobot and so on generally just trying to annoy me but using the et console which comes up when u host a dedicated server how do i kick this scumbag?

I really dont quite get how people can manage to ‘run’ there own servers yet have no idea how to configure or admin them…

Easiest way, if your ref/rcon, press escape, players menu, click there name then kick or ban.
i dont get it as i said im a n00b so i knda need step by step instructions???

Yeah. What I was thinking. I wonder if this guy actually got a server or if he thinks he can kick anyone on other people’s servers. Sounds more plausible.

To kick him, try a /status in the server console, find his playerID, then /kick PLAYERID.
You might not need the '/'s.
You have PB installed …right?
then you can use:-
/rcon pb_sv_kick XXXXXXXXX (where XXXXXXXX = player name)
/rcon pb_sv_ban XXXXXXXX (where XXXXXXXX = player name)
You can do this by either their name or slot/client number.
To get there slot number use /status in the console.
Give the guy a break fellas, and help him out… RTFM, is not always that helpfull.
If this proves to be to difficult m8, just download ASE (All Seeing Eye). Add your server details to it, and you can then view who is on your server i.e player names lists, without firing up ET. Provided that you have inserted your RCON password, you can simply right click the players name and hit “BAN” on the drop down list.

Are you trying to say that clicking “create server”, “dedicated” + OK is hard? :o :o :o
no one said or implied that. see for yourself. rtfm isn’t that hard either.
If you enable punkbuster he can’t use Autobot…And when you want to kick type /kick then player’s name…And he srcrams…!!! :bash:
