ok i got this map thing, but when i try to load my new map i get this “cvar update: out of range” ? any ideas.

That can be caused by the ‘too many pk3 files’ bug. Delete all the campaign pk3s (or temporarily move them to another directory) that you’ve auto-downloaded and try again.
