How do I avoid automatic pop-ups in ET?

There are certain pop-ups in ET which I do not want there.

  1. The Limo pops up when I enter a match. I thought “cg_popupLimboMenu 0” would fix this, but no.

  2. The Join/make fire team pop-up when I enter a match. I thought “seta g_autoFireteams 0” would help me out, but it doesn’t.

  3. Not a pop-up, but I don’t want it there either way. The intro is cool and all, but I’ve seen it like a thousand times now and the music (intro) is starting to make me cringe. “seta com_introplayed 0” only works in Q3, I think.

Any help would be appreciated.

that gets rid of the tapout warning

change the name and/or delete the movie file to make it not play
(\etmain\video\etintro.roq)

I beleive there is another way to disable the video, but I just always rename them, because that method works for almost every game out there.

Both methods worked. Thanks. One question though: If somone invites me to a fireteam, will it appear if I use “cg_intanttapout 1”?

That setting only prevents the limbo menu appearing during a game (i.e. when you get killed). The limbo menu will still appear when first joining a server.

g_autoFireteams is a server side cvar. You cannot control its behavior from the client side.
