it is possible to stand out in the sea, on a rock. and shot mortar straight into the axis bunker, on battery.

You can even get killed by mortar at the gun controls but it’s unlikely that that will ever happen :wink:

its a bug where the mortor will go through the roof of the spawn you dont really do anything about it unless you kill the mortor man =P

its not a bug or an exploit. there are several places on the beach you can put a mortar shell through the bunker windows, one is over at the east beach spawn by the unflatable raft. back up so that the mortar is planted on the hill. from there i can hit the back wall on the bunkers on the other side of the flag, occasionally even hitting inside the little corridor.

It does not go thru the roof. There are several places on the beach where if you set the angle right on the mortar, the mortal shell will fly directly into the open area.

It’s not a bug, exploit or cheat. In fact, it’s very easy to learn. Easiest spot to do it from is the second allied crew gun to the left of the main spawn point. If you deploy your mortar just in front of the fixed gun, lower the mortar all the way down (I believe 80 degrees) the mortar shell will fly right into the main axis bunker.

This also can be on fueldump, but is harder to do.

It’s definitively no bug or cheat, just deploy your mortar on a good spot were you can decrease your fireing angle to about 40 degree and shoot in an almost straight line, bazooka style :smiley:

You can than easily hit the inside of the forward bunker, the lower MG and if you increase your angle again you can continue shelling the cliff … great fun :wink:

If you watch it as spec they can stand at the back of the bunker and watch the mortor go flying it doesnt enter the window it may seem like it but it wouldnt make sense as they are too far back
