Hosting ET server

Hi,

I’m having troubles with an ET 2.56 server. It’s hosted on a debian linux kernel 2.4.23-grsec, stable release. I’m running severals (4) servers on same account, i’ve a clean et2.56 + etpro 3.1.0 installation. All servers are running perfectly, expect one (its config has been cloned from running servers), that is starting nicely, running some hours/days/weeks, then crashing with following error :

^3PunkBuster Server: 0 Aliases Written to /home/gamesmaster/.etwolf/pb/pbalias.dat
^3PunkBuster Server: 0 Stat Records Written to /home/gamesmaster/.etwolf/pb/pbstat.dat

I’ve tried to delete all custom pk3"s i can, but i must keep some for official leagues, etc… i’ve 5 computers running exactly same OS and hardware specs ET server number/specs, and i’ve this trouble on only one ET server.
Can someone helps me ?

First of all, it appears you are running all servers on the same system using the same default fs_homepath (~/.etwolf). That’s something that you should fix in any case, as it will lead to problems with the auto-update system of PunkBuster. See the PunkBuster ET FAQ (look for the section about running multiple servers on the same system).

This may or may not solve your problem. Reconfigure your servers and please report your findings.

Hi,

I’ve change the fs_homepath for all servers running on same computer. Each one have its own. I restarted all of them tonight, all was ok, but this morning, i’ve the same problem on the same server. Please help me :wink:
