Aye, but so far it seems mostly player vs environment rather than player vs player. Other than that, the concept is a great step forward. The dig things they call down are mini colonies which solves (or rather ignores) the entire persistent influence problem in the ideas we threw around in this thread.

I honestly can’t wait for brink for the team play aspect. Too many shooters these days are too “John Rambo” and not enough “Delta squad”… What I mean is there is too many people who want to play as the lone wolf and not enough who want to play as a TEAM. L4D was a very good example of how good teamwork keeps you alive and being a lone wolf gets the whole team killed.
Gaming background wise I have played just about every genre of game on nearly every system ever invented. I prefer traditional JRPGs and FPS the most, but I usually pick up every other new release that comes out (Usually just a rent).
