I thought a 3 star General was the highest?. The highest I ever got on a 6 map campaign was Lieutenant General (2 star). I almost had General but one of the maps went over too quick because an engineer and a covert ops snuck in the back way, hehe.

No, it’s possible to make as high as 7 star general. It’s really hard, though. I’ve only made it twice.

Let me guess it takes 4 stars in Signals, First Aid, Eng, Covert Ops, Heavy Weapons, Light Weapons, Battle sense…

Plus the lesser know… lvl 4 noob, lvl 4 xp whore, lvl 4 TK, lvl 4 forum poster…

What the - 7 star? There’s no such bloody thing!

I thoung the rank for having 4 stars in each of the 7 categories was just “General”

Anyway, I nabbed a shot of the end of a 3 round game, I was only a Major, but that’s because I only play the classes that the team needs when they need them, so I generally only get a few stars in other classes and 4 in my primary one. I’m more than slightly embarrassed 'cuz I know there’s some peeps lurking round who have MAD scores, but I figure since we’re on the topic, why doesn’t somebody post some scores:

I achieved General 10 minutes into the 5th map of a 6 map campaign, and by the end of the 6th map, I ended up with 1950 points and all but one medal (I couldn’t figure out which I was missing, the shapes on the medallions are so small and the letters didn’t appear next to my name). The event took play on my one month anniversary of playing ET, July 8th. The circumstances were strongly in my favor though; the Axis won every map except Rail Gun, thus allowing for the maximum playing time possible; I planned the entire campaign, knowing when I would play which class on which map for maximum XP attainage; the particular server (one of the AZ_Linux gang) had the power recharge setting a tad higher than normal, so one could launch two panzerfausts within 4 seconds of each other before depleting his power bar; and of course, I had some great coffee to drink for the duration of the campaign and a poor sap to bring it to me. :beer:

I was almost a brig general once… four stars signals, battle sense, and light weapons and three engineer :angry:

those axis kept on killing me and never got to repair the tank enough times (gold rush) at the end the tank didn’t even pass the second barrier…

anyway allies lost all three maps :moo:

I guess if team is a bit weaker it is easier to get a lot of XP and stars…

I made Lieutenant General my fifth day playing ET, having never play RTCW and coming from UT just learning the game. I just learn fast :cool:
Congratulations on making General placid, I would have made General one campaign but we won Fuel Dump wayyyy to early in the game and I lost some much valuable XP.
