Post request on CG Arts,in 3D art. They make models in any format you want by free and they also make models for Enemy territory - md3

And you should give some reference images How should model look

Something like that? Thats the one from mlb beach (well, i think its mlb_beach)…

(TNR360) #11

too big

(Darkfrost) #12

Make it smaller then?

(TNR360) #13

I believe that boat is made out of brushes

(d3coy) #14

I have this model :stuck_out_tongue:

Of course this is the model from POP

(TNR360) #15

really?

and the script too??? :o

(d3coy) #16

the model is solid, meaning the ramp is attached and in the lowered position… only .script file is my shader file for it.

(TNR360) #17

any idea how I can get the script?

or will someone have the honorable job of writing one up for me?

(full credit given to scripter alongside me)

(d3coy) #18

well to have the ramp on the boat lower via a script you will need a new model… one that is in two parts, the boat itself as one and the ramp/gate as another.

what if the ramp had an animtaion?

can that be triggered at one point? or does it really have to be seperate models?

it would probably be very hard to make the ramp aculty be coretly solid to the player as you would still have to script a seperate mover brush to be the solid object that the player can stand on. Also scripting the door to move would save memory on a much larger animated model file
