Hey i have this problem… i got a new computer its windows Vista

and i downloaded ET … and then ill enter the game

… ill type the server IP where i want to connect or take it from the server list then i join and then there comes an error like this:

Couldn`t load an official pak file ; verify your installation and make sure
it has been updated to the latest version

               plz help me some1 :P  ty

Idea
1)Delete ET folder and instaill it again

Edit: What version of the game are you running
If you updated give us all the update information
so we can try and find a solution :smiley:

i had this when i installed wrong went straight from 2.55 patch to 2.60b

you haev to go from 2.55 to 2.60 then 2.60b

maybe this helps…
