Help!!!!

i recently upgraded my pc to Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit, have installed ETQW with no problems, but whenever i go to launch it…
:eek:Nothing
i have tried running in compatibility mode for windos vista and XP but still nothing, if i run as admin all it says is are you sure you want this to access the HDD,
Please, any Sudgestions???

ive said yes evry time, and disabled all virus and security things (while unplugged from the internet) and still nothing

All of my other games are working fine (save two but i know what the probs are with them) and no error mesage, it just sits there, not even getting to the launch screen

Still nothing running as admin, Compatibility mode and normaly after installing patch 1.5

Which videocard you have and do you have the latest drivers?

ATI Radieon HD 5450, should have all the latest drivers as its set to auto update

OK. So i had it too. There is a custom patch for Kaspersky that fixes that problem exactly with ETQW. I will look for it and post link later. It also doesnt matter if you turn off the antivirus or not. It still blocks ETQW from even launching the exe.

Edit: i suppose you have Kaspersky 11 version? Try to upgrade it to Kaspersky 2012, this problem should be fixed in this version. If it doesn’t work, I can send you the link to an archive with the file sbhook.dll, that needs to be replaced in Kaspersky install directory, in order to fix the problem with ETQW and some other games.

Yeah, np, just upgrade the antivirus to 2012 version.
