The file would need to be installed on the server. As you have been told many times, there is nothing that anyone here can do to change that.

If you are offended by the files on a particular server, you need to contact the owner of that server. No one else can change it. Ifurita kindly provided a file that they can install if they wish to remove the offending sound.

Good luck with the media, I would think they have many more important things to do than to worry about a sound in map in a video game.

Hi Saudi’

The next step is to contact the server administrators again, and present the fix that you have been given. It is then their choice to apply the fix, or not apply the fix. Either way, it’s down to the personal choice of multiple parties. Whilst I’ve not played the Byzantine map before, I’ll now lobby my server admin to include it in their campaign, as it does look like an interesting map.

Not trying to heat up this discussion again, but I asked one of my friends to have a look at this thread and to write a comment. Since I asked him to write this before the topic was locked and when he tried to post it the server was down, I think it’s only fair to post his message :).

He does speak english very well( lives in the UK, duh ) and I’m posting his response in an attempt to offer a better understanding of saudi’s( and muslim? ) issues with the map :).
