Help!! No server info in chart

(azimuth2000) #1

When I start ET and then click on PLAY ON LINE the chart that has all the server names in it comes up, but theres nothing showing in it. I do not have anything but the locked one check in the filter section. I recently removed adware and spyware but I played the game after that an dit worked fine. Could the servers all be down? I would hate to have to uninstall and reinstall ET because I have dozens of maps already downlaoded and would have to start over.

Any help appreciated.

make sure “source” is set to internet, make sure cl_maxping is 800 (and i guess cl_minping is 0?)…

all else fails, All Seeing Eye.

This happens if you run the old ui code based on the 2.56 code (and probably all current mods are based on 2.56 code) on the 2.60 version.
Make sure if you patched up to the 2.60 version that you start ET without a fs_game command line setting and maybe unzip the files in mp_bin.pk3 into your etmain folder once after you patched up.

Well, I think at this moment the master server is down so the ingame serverlist won’t show up any servers at all.

how long will it take?

It’s the same for me. I hope it will be repaired soon!!!

do you know how to put some new sounds in the game like the famous “Atta Way Baby”?

Thank you, I’ll see you in the map

As far as I know it isn’t for linux so effectively that leaves linux clients out in the cold.

what isnt for linux? if you’re referring to ASE then there’s XQF instead.
