ahem, I’ve got an amd1900+ with 512 MB of ram and a Geforce4 ti4600, I got an average fps of around 50 I think, so I can’t see why he shouldn’t be able to get a higher fps rate with his geforce 5200 fx. Eventho his cou us slower he should still be able to get decent framerates…

ET is very CPU dependant, and a Duron 1200 is nowhere close to the speed of your CPU joop. Same is true for the GFX card - everyone knows that the 5200 is crap, and your 4600 is a great card for ET.

My old computer would be a closer match; with my Athlon 1200/GF2Pro I dropped below 20 FPS in the grass on radar. That was at 800600/stock settings, and it did help a bit to lower the resolution (to 648480 :frowning: ) and tweak my settings.
