Help me out here please?

HI im sorry if i posted this topic to wrong area or if its not proper, but i rly need your help on this one.
So, i have played enemy territory and cod4 and suddenly 3days a go i started lagging mad in both games… first i thought its about my computer but then i tried with my old computer = same weird lagg
i suspect its about my network but i visited the website and no annoucments about bad connections there, idownload my net providers “helper” program that checks my connection and it said its fine, but every time i join server and try to play my ping gets up and makes it impossible so could you please tell me what can i do?
btwi i have cable not wireless

ping your isp site/gateway.

reinstall or remove all pk3’s exept pak 0,1,2

It’s probably contention on your ISP pipe during the busy period. Your download rate will be fine but your latency will suck ass. When it’s going slow, ping a website in your country that you normally get a good response time from and see what the ms is.

What country are you in? If it’s UK, who’s your ISP?

Download a program called pingplotter http://www.pingplotter.com/freeware.html

Use this to ping the server I.P
This can show you a graph over time how good or bad the ping is and where any delay is occuring.
