HELP! Can't Download ET...

I’m getting pretty frustrated with this:

I’ve been wanting to play ET, so I try downloading it, and it ALWAYS stops within the first quarter of the download (sometimes at 2 or 3 megs, sometimes at 60 or so). I’m on a broadband connection and have tried downloading from multiple sites, but it just doesn’t work!

Any help appreciated,

I’d suggest getting hold of a download resuming program, like BitTorrent:

then connect here:
http://zerowing.idsoftware.com/BT.html

Admittedly feeble guess on my part would be something wrong at your ISP’s end (perhaps they have a bad copy in proxy or something?) …? You did say “any help”, hope it does (I know it would suck if I couldn’t get my copy of ET!)

I doubt it’s an ISP problem: for whatever reason, I can download any other file I want to, EXCEPT Enemy Territory… :disgust:
