A sniper rifle ! :smiley: Seriously, it depends. Long distance sniping ==> Rifle (higher accuracy) If you plan to sneak disguised into your enemies back to snipe them from behind you need the silenced rifle or your cover will blow.
If you want to go in Rambo-Style, maybe fireing of a few scoped shots on the way pick the FG-42

I think no official SD-maps are planed but there certainly will be tons of custom made maps

1.) If you mean sniper, as if you want to pick off people from long range, choose the silenced M1 garand or K43. I dont consider the FG-42 a “sniper” rifle :stuck_out_tongue:

2.)Probably not any made by SD, but yeah, tons of customs

3.) Thompson/mp-40/Akimbo pistols :smiley:

4.) now we only need to convince the other tens of thousands of CS fanatics :stuck_out_tongue:

:banghead: i found it unfair to play with a fg agiasnt M1A1 Thompson or MP40.
but its so cool 2 be a spy. but not with this weapon… and when i active scope what is that red bar that reduce to green and than dissaper

That red bar is your “steadiness.” Basically as it starts at red that means you just probably setup. As it goes to your green, it’s supposed to mean you’re slowing down and therefore you can steady the gun better (scope jumps less, your breathing steadies out, etc).

depends what you’re doing.

K43/Garand is pretty much a dedicated sniping rifle. I usually prefer to use my pistol than the K43/Garand in close combat.

FG42 is all purpose. May not be as effective as the SMG’s (cuz smaller magazine size) but you do have the option to snipe. This weapon would be better if you’re going rambo style. The rate of fire of this weapon is also pretty damn high.

Sten should be used if you plan to semi-assault, but want to keep your disguise. Don’t go all out rambo though, cuz you lose your disguise if someone sees you shoot your gun. Keep your encounters 1vs1, (or shoot them from behind)

Side note: never understand a KNIFE+Stolen uniform combo. The knife is a pretty damn good weapon for a covert ops.

Hell yeah, specially for those people camping with a mg-42 (Mobile or mounted)
