I just heard that the Strogg will be able to turn GDF players into a Strogg.

whoa!!! that sounds really bad from a team balance point of few cuz I dont need my teammates being switch to the other team to balance out the teams. I wont like it for sure. That would really suk.

So how is this going to affect team balance if the Strogg can turn GDF players into Stroggs?

Hope this aint true.

I think i read they can turn them into a one time spawn point, but not into a full blown player. Not 100% sure on this though

I heard that the Strogg can uses a “IMPLANT” device and change a GDF into a Strogg

A Strogg can turn a GDF corpse into a spawn host, so basically that GDF soldier turns into a Strogg as soon as the next Strogg-player uses it. As far as I know that’s a one-time only option, so that spawn host is gone after you used it (not entirely sure about that)

On the other hand SD seems to have taken away the ability to revive teammates from the Strogg (still unconfirmed), which in the end will probably leave the Strogg in a weaker position overall (speaking from a purely theoretical standpoint here. Bleh!, SD should really send me a beta soon, so that I have something more solid, factbased to say :stuck_out_tongue: )

Yes Darkangel is correct. A downed GDF can be turned into a one-time one-Strogg spawn. But not having a GDF to switch sides and become a Strogg…Why you would even think that is baffling!

But remember…Notheeeeennnngggg is final.

yeah but if the GDF players cant bring strogg over to there team and a match last 30 mins its unlikly that the GDF are gona get much more than a wipping

its not too baffling is you had read my orig. post correctly the word “Spawn Point” was not mentioned. :roll: The rumor I heard was that a dead GDF player could be turned into another Strogg “PLAYER”. I heard nothing about a spwan point. Eaither way Im gald that its not going to happen WHEW!!!

Infiltrator
The Infiltrator is a stealthy backstabber and saboteur. The Infiltrator can possess fallen GDF players, initially stunning them with his Bio-Electric Pinch Bomb, and then use their corpse as a disguise to infiltrate GDF bases. They have a choice of the Railgun, used for Long-Distance Sniping, or a modified Lacerator with increased accuracy. They also carry a remote Drone, which can be used to spy on the enemy.

that is like a cov ops in ET taking a disguse. I strogg reviver will actuly turn to the falled GDF into a strogg. also in the infultrator method it describes that the player will be noticeable when your close up to them
