Have anyone tried Call of Duty yet?

Is the multiplayer fun like in ET?

Or is it just the standard Deathmatch, Last man standing, etc?

Do they have good objectives map like in ET?

The great thing about ET is the XP and multiple objectives in one map. I don’t think I would be able to enjoy just a simple Deathmatch after that.

Happy gaming

cod, multiplay is okay… if you like medal of honor :bored:
you have 1 life, no classes … if your hardcore ET or RTCW, skip this.
But allso no punkbuster…

and the best part…

A fully working cheat (opengl / ballhack / coloured models / fog / etc) was released within 24 hours after the gamerelease… and yes… the cheat is used by a lot of people allready :banghead:

the only thing i love, and wouldnt harm et either is the killcam… when you die, you see a replay through the eyes of your killer… while you have a big arrow pointing down on you… you can see the arrow through the walls… quite handy as shownormals replacement.

you couldnt believe how much fun it is to see mr l337player tracking your arrow and popping you the second you stick your head out in the open. :disgust:

… hope i dont sound too bashfull … but without cheatprotection the game is ruined …once implemented… it might be enjoyed by a crowd that dont care for classes.

They have DM, TDM, Search and Destroy (Counterstrike-ish) Retrieval (RTCW-ish) and Behind enemy lines, which I have not played.

CoD is a fantastic game, pick it up.

Single player is Freakin AWSOME!!
Multi player is complete freakin CRAP!!

If you find et and rtcw fun you will not find this fun in the least.

Agrees

The single player is worth it though.

Basically, if you want ET style MP, play ET. CoD’s Behind Enemy Lines MP is a novel (at least to me) approach and can be quite fun.

I haven’t had a lot of time to play the game, let alone MP, so I can’t comment on the other modes.
