I have the feeling that my aim got worse since the last patch. My mouse feels more unresponsive or numb or less “crisp”. I dont land shoots I used to land and have a harder time to track other players with my cross hair. And I dont mean because of the additional lag the last patch brought with it. Just in normal game play.
Has your aim changed since the last patch?
Somehow i experienced just the opposite: My aim has improved a lot. Especially with the reviver gun i was able to get kills a lot more often
i dont know why, but my mouse response feels a lot smoother
until the update came i was only playing Xcom2 or dark souls 3 so my aim became nonexistant
I was on a break for about 3 weeks, so maybe this is the reason, but something felt really weird when I played yesterday. Like my crosshair wasn’t responding fast enough.
I would say that my aim is the same, but yesterday I couldn’t hit crap after finally playing on DB, after about two weeks straight of having very great aim. I went Selbstadt pistol only Sparks though, and was able to hit crap with Vassili yesterday though, so maybe it’s just fine and I need to let the new colorization take place. Also, I kept having weird hiccups in the servers, despite having the new config from SD. I haven’t had these before… Will be posting a video about it soon… Something with the FOV is weird for me.
Somehow i can solidly stay on targets now as if my potato aim turned into machine sniper with the timk
My aim got worse… to be fair I haven’t played the game for like 2 months.
Some people have been saying the mouse feels less responsive post patch and a good fix is to set the .exe to high priority. Not sure if it’s the only option atm, but worth a shot if your mouse feels sluggish ingame.
Don’t have the good hardware to notice a possible change in my aim (got a low budget notebook wireless mouse which can’t handle quick moves)
Haven’t played in three months and just got back in yesterday. Yesterday my aim was awful and now today it’s godlike. That clearly balances out to “more or less the same”, right?
EDIT: But to be serious, my aim is probably gonna be the same. Asides from the rubberbanding I’m getting a lot, mouse seems a bit smoother overall.
So, I actually record footage when Playing, And I’ve noticed now why the first few games I couldn’t hit anything. The game is skipping frames for me. I think that’s why I couldn’t aim the first few games as my brain was trying to unlock from where it used to be. I play everyday so for me I can solidly say that at first my aim was garbage post patch.
Being able to finally run stable, consistent 60 fps helps aiming quite a lot when comparison was rollercoasting from anything between 25 and 55
And for me personally lighting / colour pallet / such visual changes make enemies pop up from background much better too.
man, every vassilei in the game was able to 360 noscope now!
maybe SD made the game handles like CSGO.
but seriously, i get better shot than before, maybe its because the screen is smoother now
@Kelben if you’re anything like me, even though I got a huge FPS boost, I for whatever reason now have input lag on my mouse.
Changing DB’s priority to high in task manager seemed to help though, so I’d recommend trying that if you haven’t already.
Untill they find a way to fix my potato aim my aim its just as crappy as before the update
Feels worse for sure:
- Can’t hit in CQC. It looks like I am skipping frames and can’t track straffing mercs
- I’ve lost around 100 frames / s with the cap (I could hit 250-300 fps before). I don’t see how it can improve my aim
- Visibility is very bad, it does not help, especially the blood and aliaising
- I used to have around 38-39% accuracy. I thkin I’ve lost 5 points, i lose 1v1 I would have won before MOFO
MOFO surely help potato PC. It penalizes good end machines. No one will ever convince me that loosing frames is good as every competitive fps player will always try to improve frames. Always.
To be honest, I would rollback everything, even the Crotzni sound.

@sandstormMosaic fps above 180 messes with the unreal engine so its a good thing it was capped and there is no reason to have over 180 unless you have a 200 Hz monitor.
do you even have a monitor above 60 Hz?
I have a 144Hz monitor and like most people I cap my games at 145 fps even though I have a good PC because anything over that it is pointless. (unless its a source engine game.)
My aim is pretty much abysmal since my Battlefield and Insurgency days as a dedicated Machinegunner
But I can still shoot heads, though
