near the Allied CP on Oasis, you exit the room, and you move forward to the left and there is that hole in the wall.
when trying to get through the rubble and such to go through the hole, has anyone ever been gibbed in that spot? On the news it said “Cyber-Knight fell to his death”. But I didn’t even fall 2 centimeters, but I got gibbed somehow. It’s happened to me a few times in the past.
Anyone experience this bug before?
Yes it happens sometimes, its evil.
Just like how I get crushed sometimes by the tug, when simply sitting in it.
Normally happens during lag or something.
Yeah I got “DizZ fell to his death” yesterday when I was on the fence near allies spawn in radar, I just went up the step like things and got gibbed, did’nt fall an inch.
If it helps u feel that u r sane, yeah, my housemate Cake got gibbed like that inexactly that fashion on oasis (same spot too).

that’s not the only place it happens… this can also happen in several places at fuel dump. this often happens on uneven terrain… or, with any kind of terrain move. i think that it might be a syncronization error of some sort that can happen as a result of this, and instead of just keeping you stuck there, or crashing the game, it will just make you fall to your death.
this also happens on rail gun. ever be riding inside the tug happily when all the sudden you’re crushed? it sucks… realllly sucks.
In my experience, in both RTCW and ET extremely jagged geometry can gib you from just standing in the right place. There is a spot like this in mp_keep, in the well.

The tug squishing you is a slightly different issue.
Wasn’t there a similar spot on Fuel Dump in the sewer? Where you step off a rock and die instantly… I never experienced it but I thought I read it in these forums somewhere. I am not going to search for it - too lazy…
