Hello everyone old, and everyone new. Friends I have not chatted with in a long while. I am still alive…
pushing 59 years old… well… 58 in october so 59 is ahead of me.
A very late FISHMUS update, but I cooked a decent meal for everyone, just turkey with smashed taters and gravy with roasted carrots on the side. I made an incredible stuffing with sausage/celery and onions to go with it. I went to safeway to buy a lot of things on the day before xmas… and Of course they were out of pumpkin pie… but they had cranberry sauce. And of COURSE!!! on chistmas day was when my oven decided to die… could not get it to work, so I had to pull out the old trusty roaster oven.
The turkey came out cooked but not browned enough for any photo op.
But you know, the best thing about after xmas and a few day’s more is breakfast… because fried turkey with hashbrown’s and egg’s are way better than bacon. Plus turkey sandwiches with stuffing for lunch… I made a moist-maker from friends!
Anyway’s… My co-worker, ya know… from work… Jona got me into using Uber because she has used them for rides home when traffic is at a standstill because of snowstorms and us canadians forgetting how to drive when there is snow on the ground for the first couple of week’s it arrives… every car is bumper to bumper for hours… but Uber always come’s through in like 10 minutes or less when a cab ride is over an hour away or the bus is delayed for half an hour or more.
So today I tried Uber eats out to order some Vodka and was impressed with the delivery so much I ordered some KFC for everyone also. I tipped the driver’s good… because I know they don’t get payed much, but I am impressed by the service.
BTW… I am not sponsered by Uber… It’s just an experience I am sharing. =P
In the end… I want to wish Everyone a very belated MERRY FISHMUS! and hopefully a very Happy New Year!!!
I hope everyone is doing ok. And I miss those times old friends met up on some random server and we enjoyed hour’s of fraggin each other on community made maps and mods.
